Approximately 3 hours walk from The Reservoir Car Park, taking
short cut. Longer way adds 10 minutes on fire access track (not
as scenic).
Vehicle access to The Reservoir car park closed during
winter, adding 3km or 1 hour to walk

Remote camp
site so unlikely to get day trippers

Water:
|
No permanent water source. Nearby creek was dry during
visit.

Camp sites:
|
Large open area surrounded with views of plains. Unlimited
camp spots with small number that are sheltered.

Toilets:

Pit toilet with split door allows provide views of surrounds,
approximately 5 minutes walk away
|
Comments:
|
Large remote site for access to Mt McLeod. Not an ideal
site in summer due to lack of water source.
