Cleve Cove Hut, Alpine National Park, Victoria





Summary:
Super awesome camp site with amazing valley views and good facilities

Date of visit:
Australia Day long weekend 2012

Access:
From the north via Mt Bogong (approximately 1.5 hrs walk), or                    
From the south via Roper Hut (approximately 5.5 hrs walk)

Remoteness:   
Can be busy and popular on long weekends but only accessible via long trek

Water:
Water taps in hut pumped from creek, untreated.

Camp sites:
Open grassed areas with many snow gums for shelter. Over 15 camp spots.

Toilets:
4 pit toilets, well maintained, clean.

Comments:
Hut is well maintained with bunk beds (sleeps 8), benches, table and shower room.
